Speed Test: download speed half of what it's supposed to be.

If you open a browser tab and enter "speed test" in the address box you'll get a button to tap and run speed tests for both download and upload.

The download speed from my Internet Service Provider is classified as one gig. That's 1,024 Mega Bytes (MB), mega being one million.

I've run the test a few times and about the fastest download speed is about 550 MB. That's a little more than half of what I could get, i.e.:

What I'm paying for.

Sometimes the download speed is about 350 MB.

I did a quick search and found this at speedtest.net where an image suggests that speeds greater than 100 MB are fast:

How Much Speed Do You Really Need?

A good rule of thumb is that download speeds of at least 100 Mbps and upload speeds of 10 Mbps are widely considered fast enough to handle nearly any online activity...

ChargePoint App sucks.

ChargePoint App is crap. It couldn't find its own charging station today when it was right in front of it. It accidentally started with tap. Who knew?

But after more than an hour of charging when I tried to end ... it could not connect. The plug was locked into my car. Repeated attempts to end through the app failed. Mysterious buttons on the equally crappy charging station and junk on the charging station screen were no help.

Eventually, the session ended. How? Why? Who knows?

Use with extreme caution or be prepared to end with extreme prejudice.
