Reviews on the Dell web site were generally positive, most saying that the extra RAM speeded up the PC, a few saying that it did not. At that price, what the heck. Try it.
I tried checking the Acer web site just in case I wanted to buy extra RAM for my new netbook but I could not breech security. Hope that is not a problem down the road.
I also downloaded drivers from Dell and installed them. Hey, you never know. Maybe that will help.
