Samsung shipped an unregistered Chromebook to me.

That explains  why:

1. there was no OS
2. Verizon Wireless did not have my Chromebook in its database for free 3G service.

I hope Verizon Wireless, Samsung and Google get this straightened out.  I'm starting to like my Chromebook.
