One just popped up for D-Link routers that do what Cradlepoint routers do: use an EVDO modem to connect to the Internet, although I will need to look for one that runs on battery. Maybe there is a non-Cradlepoint product that had been tested with the Verizon Wireless USB760 modem that I bought.
